Except OU......they gangraped you guys
That was not a gang rape. It was more of a prison rape situation. I mean they knocked our teeth out too so we couldn’t drag them.

Meh. Don't think Auburn is going to eat another contract that early. Freeze will get 2 years

lol at DeBoer. He wins 10 minimum next year
I believe that is what the hot seat implies. he wins 10 games next season (fan expectation), no hot seat. he wins less than 10 and his seat gets warmer for each win less than 10......
2 - power 4 non-conference games (FSU/Wisc)
At UGA, USCe, Mizzu
home vs Tenn, LSU, OU
should be an enertaining schedule with some good games to watch

That writer clearly doesn't understand the Auburn PTB.
Very far from the hotseat

Will leave Alabama with a 3-0 record vs LDU (2-0 vs Kelly and 1-0 vs Kelly's successor Dave Aranda). Lmao.

I'm not really sure I agree.
I think that unlike some prior hot seat situations there is a lot of hoping and wishing for Hugh to come good (whereas in the past I PTB were already resigned to eventually pulling the plug).
But I expect that can still turn quickly for Hugh. I imagine the current belief is that he now has all the tools to win at a moderate level - so if he doesn't and especially if he appears to be directly part of the problem as he has a few times thus far - then circumstances will shift.
In short, I think a good narrative about progress and 7 wins and the PTB will hold off. Anything less than that and I think it's going to be dicey.

I mean, I kinda get it. When you pour out over $100million buying out a few entire coaching staffs in less than 5 yrs, you're forced to cool the jets on buyouts and let a HC settle in and see what he can do. It has to be purgatory for a fan base though.

Maybe, but if he sharts the bed again next year, and doesn't make the playoffs, he'll be gone. ... hence the term "hot seat".

Any hot seat list that still doesn't include Napier is suspect.

While every one of them should be on the HOT seat for letting Shannon Sharpe threaten another employee on air.

Define hot seat. Feeling some discomfort because of fans being upset? Or at risk of being fired?
Because sure DeBoer probably doesn't want to read Twitter right now, but there is absolutely zero chance of him being fired.

replace auburn with a&m and this is laughably accurate

Yeah, he's kind of mellowed though. He used to be ornery as frick tho. Always thought he was a good dude deep down. He sure hates the f out of LSU though
