I’ll never understand Bama fans coming to this board to what look for sympathy? This team was an average QB away from being good. How about you give a first year head coach an opportunity to get his QB and offense on the field before you start whining to sec fan bases who were the brunt of 16 yrs worth of arse whippings. Why would they feel sorry for you?

The coaching isn't mediocre. The coaching is dog shite. You out talented everybody on your schedule except Georgia, LSU, and Tennessee so badly that they should be automatic wins even with mediocre coaching. Mediocre would split those three games, which you did, and then running the rest of your schedule. But then you lost to Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, and fricking all-but-death-penalty Michigan.

You hang in there and take it like a man. You learn not to take it for granted. You begin to appreciate how difficult it is to win, even as a blue blood. Finally, you learn to love the climb back to the top. It’s almost more fun than the arrival. Give DeBoer some time. There aren’t any Nick Saban’s out there.

Took me years to get over Saban leaving LSU. All I can tell you is the It'll will get worse before it gets better.
LSU has held their own, but nothing compares to Saban coached teams. His defenses were salty.
