We haven’t went 7-5 since the 90’s. 9 wins is a bad year for us. Keep dreaming. We aren’t going anywhere. Get used to it. LSU Clemson rematch

LOL who cares? Even if it happened, Ed has bought himself a 7-5 year if needed. Got the nat. Got the Heisman. Got the everything.

Statements/beliefs like this is why Bama is currently projected at the beer SEC team for next year. No data points, just “the process.”
Case in point:
UGA has recruited at Bamas level for the last 3 cycles and returns more overall starters but is ranked lower than Bama
Much like LSU, Bama has to replace a starting QB, offensive and defensive standouts, replace actual coordinators yearly, lost their beloved S&C coach who was the yin to Saban’s yang...but LSU is ranked lower.

So, you are correct. The Bama brand gives the Crimson Tide automatic bonus points...at least for the time being.

The last LSU 7-5 season was 2000. It could happen, but the data does not support this with the consistent recruiting and talent at skill positions.

Wow we heard the same thing last year. Avg QB, WR's that were still raw, Avg OL,Avg Defense , no real Rb's and ED O would probably be fired by end of season etc... Thats turned out ok

And on this Comment
quote:

Alabama is probably the only program in the country that could lose that much and still be a national championship contender.

LSU will be saying same after this years recruiting class

The days of bama ruling the SEC west are just about over. Ed O knows the offense that needs to be played to beat bama and he is pulling the strings to keep it going for the foreseeable future

Offense:
QB: Brennan
RB: 5 Star John Emery, Ty Davis-Price, Chris Curry
WR: Ja’Marr Chase, 20 TD’s
WR: Terrace Marshall, 13 TD’s
WR: Racey McMath, 6’4 225 Freak
TE: Arik Gilbert, 6’6 250 5-star, #1 all-time TE Recruit

Good luck defending that
