Congrats. It’s pretty rare for the East to be over the west…

Refresh my memory, where did the last 3 CWS champions come from?

The last 3 were from the West. The next 5 before that were from the East.

And the next 3 before that, going back to the beginning of the current format, were from the west. And the only 4 before that were from the west.

West 10

East 5

That’s wild that it’s 15 since 1990. And throw Texas in now and add a couple more.

Texas and Oklahoma add 7 more but I don't think ones before the 80s should count. Participation was low for the first 30 years of the sport with only a handful of schools putting any budget into it or even recruiting.

That is getting guy’s tournament reps. A couple of bullpen games and playing a ton of midweek guys. I’m sorry the field can’t eliminate the Vols bullpen and midweek guys.

I'm glad the whole east vs west thing will be ending after this spring season.

It created two much tail riding over the years where fans wouldn't be able to brag on their own team's accomplishments but instead because they were "part of the tougher division" used that to brag instead.

Even when their team directly lost to the one they're trying to talk trash to.

I know, right? I couldn’t imagine propping up another team that’s not your team. I could care less what everyone else does if Tennessee isn’t winning or playing in that game. I just want to point out that the west, including LSU is trash this year outside of Arkansas really.

I mean Tennessee played 19 guys last night to get players reps and pitched midweek guys and state still couldn’t eliminate them.

You shouldn’t be happy about it. Traditionally Missou Kent vandy are 3 of the 4 worst recruiting schools in the sec. Then throw in usce(everybody’s buddy bc they aren’t a threat to anything football ever). That’s gimme schedule by sec standards

SECE and SECW are irrelevant distinctions now. SEC divisions have gone the way of the dinosaur.

Looks like it’s holding true in the regionals also. Bunch of bums! All that money spent on your stadium and then get your shite pushed in.
