Because of message board posters looking ahead a week?

Sample size is lacking. Why can’t Auburn be bad AND UGA be overrated

Hate to say it'll come down to this but that's the way it works with SEC officiating.

Yeah but that's not what he said before the game.

Were we as good as we showed last
night and Auburn that bad? I don't think so.

As for being "overrated" Who would you rank in front of UGA and what other top 10 team beat another top by 3 TD's last week?

Also,it's not like it was some turnovers fest by AU that set up multiple scores for us and the final score coulda been worse.

We have no chance. Let’s focus on the vols. Need to keep them in their hole.

Because look at the earlier thread with the team stats.

It’s UGA by a mile and then everyone else on D.

You can’t have a D that good and be called overrated.

I haven't watched a ton of bama, but just thinking logically I have to think it'l would be harder to defend against tua and 4 all universe receivers compared to mac and 2 all universe receivers.

Smith, Waddle and Metchie are not a bad trio. Forristal at TE is becoming a big, sure handed go-to tgt as well. Then, Harris catching the ball in space. Not bad problems to have.

Mac knows the offense and works to take what the D gives him. He has a strong, accurate arm and moves well in the pkt to let the play develop. He is tough and moves on well mentally from bad plays.

And, he ACTUALLY throws the damn ball away when the play isn't there.

I kind of like this offense. Still unsure if the OL can man up and blow folks off the line if Bama ever needs to lean on the run, but the team plays well together.

Defense is improving. Lots of speed and talent.

It will be a good game. Lots of good matchups. Maybe someone will even get the right hit on UGas QB and straighten the crooked helmet out he sported most of the night vs AU.

That said, Bama needs to focus on Kiffin and his scheming at the moment. This isn't a year for anyone to get caught looking ahead. Ut has a hard hitting D and the Vols are always dirty. UGA better hope to simply get out with a W and limited injuries before heading to Bama.

UT is better defensively from what I have seen than Auburn. Georgia just lined up and ran it right at The Barn.

My question is can UT move the ball on Georgia? They do have a very good OL but lets see what that QB can do.

Gitmo will he the wild card. Will the throws sail or drop to the receivers?

Only LSU fans blame officiating. We've been through this numerous times on this board.

It seems just as likely that Mississippi State might be down this year after Saturday, but......

I'm good, bro. Thanks for asking. I hate blaming officials. Players decide games, not refs.

Agree. I thought they were really good last night and I liked the white hat a lot. A little nervous on the mic announcing penalties, but that's ok.

I think the biggest factor going into this matchup of pretty evenly talented teams is Georgia's schedule.

Three ranked teams in a row and very likely three very physical games in a row for Georgia.

The huge rivalry game with a top ten Auburn, followed by a physical top 15 Tennessee team, then comes number 2 Bama on the road.

Bama's schedule is much easier.

I think Georgia will be fatigued like crazy after back to back physical games and will come out flat against the Tide.
