Early hot take Bama/UGA game: Officials will decide it.

Are they gonna let the UGA DB's play their usual physical coverage?
Are they gonna let the Bama OL hold the UGA DL?
Hate to say it'll come down to this but that's the way it works with SEC officiating.
We had a weird crew last night... mostly inconsistent on what and when they called certain penelties.

I'm pretty sure Georgia will hold too. Most lines do. It's how well you hide it.

This is why you are going to lose to Tennessee.

This seems like an early out for an excuse to lose, imo
Strongly disagree. That half black/asian guy is the best we have in the sec by a thousand miles. I wish we had him for every game

I don’t think Kirby will have a tougher time defending Alabama this time around than he did with Tua. Tua knew where he was going with the ball pre-snap most of the time and Kirby planned for it. Mac goes through his reads a whole lot more. I’m no football coach or expert but if I was Kirby I’d play a lot of zone.

Not an excuse just an observation. If they let us play,
I think we stand a strong chance of winning.
PI and holding are the 2 most back breaking penelties in CFB
The crew did let us play last night most of the time.

Are they going to let UGA DB's get away with PI?
Are they going to let UGA's DL trip and sit on Bama's OL?
Clearly it will come down to the officiating!

I haven't watched a ton of bama, but just thinking logically I have to think it'l would be harder to defend against tua and 4 all universe receivers compared to mac and 2 all universe receivers.
Also worth noting that in the last 5 years were the only team that hasn't been completely pantsed/run out by bama. Both of our matchups have gone to the wire. Bama is clearly better than us but we at least have shown that we know how to play them. As elite as our defense is I'm not worried about that part of the game, my concern is how were going to score points

We've been referring to him as the son of that other morpheus ref

Yeah, sounds like an excuse to me.
Better take care of UT first.

It's becoming almost as hard to play CB in college as it is in the pros. What a joke

All the cheating in the world from the refs isn't going help Georgia in that game, Alabama is going to roll. People are giving the mutts too much credit for yesterdays game, it's obvious Auburn is down this season and Georgia's win is being overblown. They're not that good, they are a good team but they are not a championship contender and Alabama will expose that.
Hell, Tennessee might expose it this week

There she is.
What was your Auburn prediction?
Not a bad performance by Kirby and the "worst staff in the SEC"
wouldn't ya say?

So you aren't worried about John Metchie? That was TAMU's gameplan too.

And this is what was said BEFORE the game.

agree but to be honest I'm not sure it will be an upset. Auburn will prove to be simply the better team because Georgia is way overrated this year
Which is it boss?

Are they gonna let the UGA DB's play their usual physical coverage? AKA defensive holding
Are they gonna let the Bama OL hold the UGA DL? Holding SEC isn’t calling holding this year unless it’s bad
Hate to say it'll come down to this but that's the way it works with SEC officiating. preemptive blaming the refs might be the most UGA thing ever. Bama is just the better, more complete program
