Drink was the best prospect available at the time. At least we didn’t go full panic mode and hire a career line coach that sounds like he’s half asleep in every interview. In all honesty I hope Arky trainers have Pittman on a meal plan like the players, you don’t see many 65 year olds his size

Well, I'm not sure it's the greatest thing ever; but we've had a couple of 3 stars work out ok for us over the years.
Off the top of my head, Heisman finalist Chase Daniel and first-rounder Jeremy Maclin come to mind. In fact of the last 10 1st round NFL picks out of MU only one was a 4 star. Two of the 10 were 2 stars.
On the other hand, last time we landed the number one recruit in the nation, Dorial Green-Beckham, he turned out to be a bust.
So yeah, nothing wrong with getting a little excited about landing a kid you really want; especially if there is legitimate competition for him.

Why on Earth is firing shots at OM and when did it ever "work" for OM? I suppose it's progress that he at least got the conference right. It may take a while yet for him to learn divisions.

I hope our SEC Commish has had a convo with Drunkwitz telling him that’s not how the SEC operates. You don’t go blabbing about other schools publicly ina negative way. What an idiot to make a random public comment like that.
