It's kind of sad when people invest so much of their identity in the team they follow that they get violent over the events in a game. Unfortunately, really good teams tend to have a lot of fans like that because every loser in the state or elsewhere can feel like he's something because he chooses to root for a team that wins.

he's lucky that 40-something guy he took two drunk swings at didn't rearrange his entire life. I could see it in his face, that older dude was a devout Christian and probably army vet who could have ended that punk, and that's why he stayed back.
