I would MUCH rather have LSU than A&M, I have been pushing for OU to join the SEC since before Boren stupidly turned down the invite in 2010, and I wasn't pushing it so we could play three old B12 teams every year.

Not afraid to say I’d rather have both Tennessee and South Carolina than Auburn.

I’m as much of a wistful traditionalist as there is, but if things are inevitably changing, the one change I would like to see along these shifting sands is Georgia severing its ties with a one-dimensional school like Auburn.

There’s just nothing left of equal value in that relationship or rivalry anymore, whether you measure it by football program, university caliber, or alumni base

Beyond the 3 perms, I wonder how they set up the 6 other games. Currently they used last 11 years records to do so and is why tx got an easy schedule because tx sucked over those 11 years. Curious what formula they’ll use for that

For a lot of reasons having more permanent opponents would be better. You lose too much history. The complete rotations would still be done within six years if everyone got six opponents

But here we are.

I wouldn’t mind it being part of the 4 year review in addition to the annuals. So using 4 year records could work and then reshuffle the schedules a bit as needed. Might require some teams to play back to back years while others would have to wait an extra year to play certain opponents. If not 4 year reviews then 8 could work as well.

Mizzou keeps talking about OU- Mizzou rivalry. How can that be when OU won 27 straight games

They did talk about a balance. How they determine tier 1, 2, 3 I have no clue.

My guess is the Aggies will Texas, Arky and LSU but to that is two tier 1s and a 2.

LSU I think gets Ole Miss, Aggies and Arky

Vandy:
Sewanee
Tulane
Georgia Tech

Sewanee was and could be the biggest rival again.

LSU will get 2 of th3, Ole Miss and Aggie. LSU will not get Bama as they will 100% have Auburn and Tennessee. LSU will not be the 3rd team for Bama.

Need to get back to OK St-OK playing each other.
LSU-Tulane at the end of the season.
Keep Arkansas-Missouri at the end.
Then all of your rivalry games are set
A&M-TX, KY-LOU, TN-Vandy, OM-State, Bama-Aub, FL-FSU, GA-Tech, SCar-Clemson.

This would just make sense.

As an LSU fan, these are exactly the three that I am hoping for.

LSU and Arky makes a good rivalry week matchup.

I keep seeing Mizzou thrown out there for OU, and I really hope that isn't the case. We've already had nearly 100 games for that to become a rivalry, and it didn't happen. Why force something that almost nobody wants?

Not it!

Florida is not getting Tennessee. Saw something saying Tennessee's permanents were leaked and they are Bama, Vandy, and Kentucky

Sure, we’ll happily take UK, Vandy and Ark as our 3, then you can whine each year about ‘favoritism’ and our ‘easy’ schedule.

I wonder what criteria will be used every 4 years, 4 year average record?
