My guy was to say no, but GAs only 2 loses were marked by HORRIFIC turnovers and passing by Bennett. So perhaps, but Bama was so much better in the trenches in that game.

Not in the first year with Monken as the OC and no spring to install the offense, no. If this was Monken's second season with a full spring to install the offense, yes.

I don't see Newman as quality. The fact he quit on two teams in one year tells me he was a basket case

I do believe we would've had a very good chance.

He threw 3 picks against Indiana, how many do you think he would have thrown against Alabama.

We would have had a lot better chance to beat Bama with J.T. Daniels.

It seems like the main knock on Fields is that he's not very good at reading his progressions. That can be fatal against quality defenses.

The game would have definitely played out differently but you gotta understand that game was in T-Town and the REC check always clears

Mond is a slightly more athletic Jake Fromm.

History is way different if the kid stayed at Georgia. Might have kept coordinators and likely have different receivers (Haselwood instead of Pickens for sure).

I lean towards no.

One game has absolutely ZERO to do with the other.

Perhaps but we still should have run the ball more in the 3rd qtr.

I like Monken a lot but the 3rd qtr playcalling was a head scratcher.

Justin could never beat out Fromm at UGA. He needed time to develop and was impatient to start. So off he goes to THE osu. It was his choice to come to UGA and compete against other 5 star QBs already here. He was given his chance as promised and came up a little short. He wanted to play immediately and it was his decision to go somewhere where he could do that

We might have. LSU sure wouldn't have though if they had had Fields.
