Does UGA win both titles with Fromm at QB?

The way Stetson played in their 2021 title when the game was on the line makes me wonder if Fromm had that in him given the same exact circumstances.

What do y’all say? IMO Stetson had an all time great clutch performance late in that game.

Then let’s fast forward to 2022 Tennessee. Stetson balled out in that game and dominated the Vols. Does Fromm step up like that?

Probably not.

Mobility was a huge plus for stetson.
Deep ball also appeared to be better.

Fromm was absolutely clutch on 3rd downs.
But we won a bunch of jump balls (wims, Holloman, cager, pickens).
Stetson didn't really have that to lean on.

Stetson virtually won 2 national championships without a healthy true X receiver.

How about Stetson recovering from the first five minutes of the 2021 Alabama game?

He fumbled a snap, missed some guys huge and I want to say he had a fumble, too.

I remember thinking that he looked way too small and nervous. Then comes up huge.

There’s no way you can look back and see how Fromm would do.

But if I were a Georgia fan, I’d be glad that Stetson was there.

Probably not because of his lack of mobility but Stetson threw some horrible balls in the first half of the game against Ohio St. The first half against Ohio St was one of the worst halves of football I’ve ever seen him play

Same. It’s honestly scary to think how good they’d be if they had a guy like Tua Burrow or Young with the roster that they have.

Stetson has to go down as one of those UGA legends. Mainly for the moments he had when it mattered. 90% of the rest of the time he was average at best.

What an odd thing to say about a perpetual MVP QB.

I think Fromm would have looked very good with monken calling plays for him.

See y’all are two titles into this run and most of y’all are actually not bad. Bama fans would be rambling about how they can win with anyone at QB.

In fairness, Fromm was back shoulder fade or bust. Like the kid but he wasn't great

Ummmkay.
12 for 18 for 191 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, and 1 rushing TD (66.7% completion, 10.6 ypa) is one of the worst halves of football you've ever seen him play.

Got it.

I also think at the interception looked like a horrible under throw because he thought McIntosh was going to zig, and he zagged, so to speak. I feel as though there was another throw to Mitchell in that game where it seemed like the same thing, but he had some poor throws as well. Every QB does.

This is just an outside observance, but Fromm regressed year to year for whatever reason. Stetson's growth from 21-22 was pretty amazing honestly and for whatever reason opposing fans don't want to acknowledge that. I'll take 22 Stetson any day over 19 Fromm.

Yes. The fumble was when he was attempting to pass and his arm was ruled not to have gone forward.

This is a very good point, too. Fromm would have been totally different with Monken calling plays. Monken could really tailor a game plan around the QB talent he was working with.

Nah abd you saw how that went with fromm at qb. But you saw how the drunk kid qb did it for uga got the titles. Now i know why he didnt graduate in his 7 years of college. He was pribably getting drunk instead of studying

The only real ‘clutch’ performance I remember out of Fromm was the Rose Bowl game vs. Oklahoma. Tied it up in the final minutes before the overtimes began.

And yet still managed to beat the SEC West champions by 20. Amazing.

Also, judging by your grammar and spelling i have to ask. Did you graduate?

I think Stetson is better than Fromm by a good bit, but it’s hard to say how things would go for the team if you had Fromm in Stetson’s place.
