I don't want Sumlin anywhere near our defensive game planning TBH

He's trying to give Auburn a compliment.

Ah, he's taking the Les Miles approach.

"We're going to do what we do!"
"But coach, what if it doesn't work?"
"We're going to Keep doing it!"

He practices the strategy of not saying anything bad about your opponent so as to deny them bulletin board material and just gives blanket "nice guy" answers to any such questions. Don't read too far into it.

Even if Franklin had thrown a pass, it probably wouldn't have been thrown well.

Probably working around the clock to create a defensive scheme to shut down Bo.

To be fair, he was drunk when he watched it

He probably assumed that Auburn wouldn't have needed their 1st team QB to play the entire game against an illness-ridden Arkansas State missing 14 players.

Still would have ripped Prairie View a new a-hole. Your starter threw the ball 41 times against Prairie View, and didn't really come close to 60%.

I honestly think he's the worst coach in the sec. Great recruiter but his teams always look unprepared to me

We regularly finish behind Bama & LSU in recruiting. Sometimes even Auburn and Ole Miss. I'd say he's a decent recruiter, but he's consistently won about 9 a year. Hard to do that when you're unprepared.
