Russia owns Trump

To put the story in simplest terms:
1) Russian spies hacked Democratic Party communications in order to help elect Donald Trump.
2) Donald Trump welcomed the help, used it, publicly solicited more of it—and was then elected president of the United States.
3) President Obama sanctioned Russia for its pro-Trump espionage.
4) While Russia considered its response, its ambassador spoke with the national security adviser-designate about the sanctions
quote:
5) The adviser, Flynn, reportedly asked Russia not to overreact, signaling that the new administration would review the sanctions; Russia did not respond.
6) As president-elect and then president, Donald Trump has indicated that he seeks to lift precisely those sanctions caused by Russia’s espionage work on his behalf.
All of this takes place against the background of Donald Trump’s seeming determination to align U.S. foreign policy ever closer to Russia’s: endorsing the annexation of Crimea, supporting Russia’s war aims in Syria, casting doubt on the U.S. guarantee to NATO allies, cheering on the breakup of the European Union.
quote:
It takes place, too, in the context of Trump’s murky corporate financial obligations to Russian entities. "Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets,” Donald Trump Jr. told an investor conference in 2008. “We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.” Exactly how much money is unknown to anyone outside the Trump Organization, because of the president’s repeated refusal to embrace financial transparency.

Wow. It's amazing what bounds the human imagination can achieve.
No modern day president has ever:
- snuggled up this close to Russia
- refused to release his taxes
Methinks you are allowing partisanship to blind you from the obvious.

OH geezus. he can lie to them all he wants. FBI admitted during the hillary investigation they don't make you interview under oath.
If Flynn lied to the FBI, that is a felony. This is the only explanation for Trump's 180 and the firing of Flynn.

On Tuesday, Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary, said that President Trump was made aware of the situation weeks ago. Mr. Spicer said the White House had reviewed the situation and determined that Mr. Flynn didn’t violate any laws during his call with the Russian ambassador.
Mr. Spicer said Mr. Flynn was asked to resign because he had lost the trust of the president and vice president.
Trump knows about Flynn's call for weeks, Trump knew Flynn had lied to Pence for weeks, Trump is fine with everything, then, out of the ****ing blue, Trump just loses trust in Flynn?!?
Trump discovered Flynn lied to the FBI which = felony. Now, the investigation is coming that will bring us one step closer to seeing the Russian financial ties reflected in the tax returns Trump is hiding.

Sub 5% unemployment, stock market roaring, almost all well-educated and driven people are doing very well economically......what was so wrong that needed to be drastically changed? It seems like there was this huge wave of anger from stupid and lazy people who don't make very much money. You've been conned if you think Trump will do anything but make things worse for you.

The politicians hate that an unencumbered businessman has the White House.
If by "unencumbered" you mean refusing to release his taxes because he is selling out our country to the Russians because of his business debts to them and he is ordering his administration to violate the law in support of his evil pro-Russian agenda then, yes, everyone who is decent should hate that.

Seems that is biting him in the arse now. They definitely have an axe to grind...it's disgusting because they are intentionally trying to destroy the president
Maybe, just maybe, Trump is destroying himself by ordering Flynn to break the law, as part of his plan to sell us out to Russia.

Your harping on the Logan Act might be my favorite meme of the day.
It got Flynn fired. It will be part of Trump's impeachment, but, certainly, nothing compared to the info in trump's unreleased taxes.

After discussing the matter with U.S. law enforcement officials, Yates felt she had to alert the White House because the risks of blackmail were too great and Flynn was in potential violation of the Logan Act, a never-used law from 1799 that bars citizens from negotiating with other governments. Yates approached White House counsel Donald McGahn and alerted him to the transcripts and discussion of sanctions. It is not clear what McGahn did with the information.
The DOJ told the WH that Flynn had violated the Logan Act, and was now a blackmail target. The Trump administration did NOTHING until a true patriot took this info to the media. Thank God they did. We are a safer country for it.

You mean kind of like Obama, Hillary, Graham and McCain sold us out to ISIS?
No evidence for any of this. You are a special kind of crazy.

Please show us how. How is DJT selling us out to Russia?
I'm sure Trump is saying the US is the moral equivalent of Russia for no good reason. I'm sure Flynn broke the law to pacify Russia for no good reason. I'm sure Trump pressured Japan to play ball with Russia for no good reason And, certainly, Trump has no problem releasing his tax returns, which clearly display all of his shady Russian business dealings.

I'm excited about the multiple GOP Senators who have called for an investigation. I'm excited about the GOP senators calling for Flynn to testify in front of a committee in regards to this investigation. I want the truth about Trump's business dealing with the Russians, which is why he won't release his taxes, to be brought out in the open.

Those of you who are struggling to figure out how Trump is selling out our country to former KGB interests, were you completely stumped by Scooby Doo when you were in high school?

Yep. Trump is heavily in debt to Russian affiliated interests. You tools were conned into voting for a guy who is selling us all out to the Russkies because of his reckless business practices. Trump will make Nixon look like Jesus ****ing Christ.

And now, GOP Senators are calling for an investigation, with testimony from Flynn, to see how deep the rabbit hole goes. If you think Flynn did this 100% on his own, without Trump's knowledge and consent, I have some ocean front property in Amarillo to discuss with you.

There are GOP senators calling for an investigation. This is obviously just another example of the loony, left-wing, vindictive GOP going after a pure and Christian GOP administration:

This was the action of a Patriot who:
1. Knew that a law was broken
2. Knew that Trump and his team was actively covering it up
3. Is terrified of how Trump is in bed with an evil regime
