to actually win a national title?
With all that talent, how much longer does it take?
Richt's offenses seemed a lot more explosive than what we've seen out of Kirby
He obviously didn't learn the Saban blueprint on how to adapt offensively.
He thought he could grind out a title but even Miles learned the hard way you have to adapt offensively or the game will pass you by.

UGA has the right OC in Monken, we will see what type of progression we get in year 2 with a lot of returning production.

I think UGA has the pieces in place. I mean, they have enough 5* players that they could almost run an entire starting lineup of 5*'s on both sides of the ball. Just needed someone besides a walk-on midget to run the show

The blueprint of putting the true freshman QB in the 2nd half of the game in week 15?

Or the blueprint of the starting QB sitting as a backup for 3 years before taking over the program?

Maybe. maybe not.

Thanks for the keen insight.

In the 2020 Georgia had their third O coordinator in the last three years. That has not helped the offense. This will be Monken's second year coming up. Time will tell if he is the right guy, a lot of people think he is.

Georgia is just like LSU. Sleeping giant. Get the right OC and get hot, it’s a wrap. They can certainly run the table.

Would fire bowl cut if he gets within 100 feet of the QB room.

If they don’t this year the window closes again. Nice schedule with Clemson to open with new faces everywhere, Arky from the west, Florida losing a ton that Mullen didn’t replace. But likely they go 11-1 before losing the SEC title game and missing the playoffs.

Now this is strong evidence of a man that is tired of being so wrong so often.

The question is will Kirby leave the offense alone and stick to what he's good at.

The will be UGA shitting the bed and keep them from the playoffs because they get blown out in the SEC title game. It’s a dog thing.

After how correct you were about Pruitt and Chaney, folks should definitely take you seriously...

It’s a smokeyone thing.

You have learned from your annual awful uga predictions that were always 7-5/8-4..... and then uga would go 11-1 instead, making you look like a complete buffoon.

The end result of 8/4-11/2 is missing the playoffs and not winning championships. The years I had UGA at 7/8 wins they won 9/10. A couple of bounces and teams under preforming.

Given the weak schedule, rebuilding if UGA isn’t 11-1 Kirby should be fired. If UGA doesn’t get really lucky and sneak into another playoff this year they likely never will in your lifetime.

What?

How does that work? How many seasons did it take Bowden?Paterno?Osborne?Dooley?

BTW,were yiu calling for Phils head after he went 11-2 in Peyton's senior year?

Do ya not realize how unbelievably lucky he got in '98?

The game has moved past waiting for a coach to find a perfect storm. UGA will likely have its best, most complete team with a very favorable schedule ever in 2021. After that it will go back to talented but too young/inexperienced/new system/coaches leave/ whatever excuses dog fans use, for the foreseeable future.

Fulmer won a national title in 6 years. But if Tennessee was going on 20 years of being that close but still a second tier program, just outside of elite? I would expect the fans and administration to have higher expectations and a shorter leash instead of just setting for being close. Too much talent has come through Athens the last 20 years for y’all to be happy just winning 10 games a season.
