It is a QB and an offense that makes you defend the full length of the field.

This is college football. Not rocket science.

If you try to defend UGA like teams would do with Fromm or Bennett, then you get 400+ yards passing on you. You adjust to defend the deep pass and UGA can run for 300.

Nobody claims that is an automatic win. But it is the definition of a dangerous and explosive offense. And it will force teams to defend us differently than 2019 and early 2020.

Is this how you admit that you think the kid looked really good in his first action in over a year? So cowardly.

Well when you have talent and recruit consistently like LSU and Georgia you can be labeled as such. Teams like Texas USC and Tennessee obviously not because they aren’t loaded like Georgia and LSU. I know you’re a Bama guy but come on you should know that. Or are you one of those who only pays attention to your team and everyone else is garbage to you?

Not a ford guy, but there were some ponies that came stocked with 351 Clevelands and they would have been hard press to get 300 horses. Maybe a 4 barrel setup would get you north of there. Now the 351 Boss, a much bigger deal in the muscle car era of the 70s.

300 yards a game against 52, 66, 105, defensive teams in the country 69, 92, 118 pass efficiency D. Not exactly lights out. Sure it’s a small sample size but let’s not pretend these are big offensive numbers that are common in modern offensive systems.
U of SC
19/31 259 61.3 1 0
10/16 139 62.5 2 1
21/29 268 72.4 4 1

Mizzou
14/23 190 60.9 1 0
16/27 299 59.3 3 0
21/36 345 58.3 4 1

That’s the 2 in common games with Gitmo and Trask. Guess which stats are whose.

The number of qbs who have thrown for more YPG than JTD’s 307.8 in the sec 2016-20 = 5.

The number of qbs who have had better PASSER efficiency ratings than JTD’s 178.50 in the sec 2016-20 = 4.

All of that was done without spring, summer, and fall practice first team prep, which makes it all the more impressive.

So this is just another example of your awful takes you have for uga. You will always have a complete inability to remain objective when viewing uga.

3 real games against pretty bad Ds and an exposition game against a G5 team. Sample size is very small and against sub par opponents.

3 games against 0 teams in the top 50 in passing D. Curb your enthusiasm slick.

All of it was done against 3 really bad SEC passing Ds and a G5 team that didn’t care. Which makes it very unimpressive. Low completion %, not lighting up the TDs, don’t fall for the UGA QB hype AGAIN. Don’t let them fool you 4 times in a row.

Question my objectivity because a guy played 3 SEC teams that were really bad on D and you list season stats vs those 3 games? That seems legit. I’m not saying he’s a bad QB but in limited action he put up pretty pedestrian numbers. Against UofSC he had the lowest passing numbers UofSC gave up. Against Mizzou almost half the teams equaled UGAs passing numbers. Miss State was his biggest game and given the sample size and outlier.

Let’s see him play some decent P5 teams before we label him the next Jamie Newman or Jake Fromm.

These kind of hot takes really expose how much of a biased fraud you are.....

a G5 team that didn’t care.

Holy shite what a completely retardrd way to describe a team playing in the biggest and most exciting game of their lives.

I guess a vols fan would never know about having to play such an opponent though. Other sec teams know all about it though.

he put up pretty pedestrian numbers.

There is nothing objectively pedestrian about 307 ypg and 178.5 passer ratings.

He had the highest passer rating of the season of any mizzou opponent. Yes, higher than the bama and Florida qbs.

It was a meaningless bowl game after being left out of the playoffs.

Against 3 really bad teams. With 1 game skewing the numbers against the other 2.

Has anyone seen the goal post? DJdog moved them again.

Playoffs Aren’t realistic for g5 teams, so that wasn’t a factor. In reality, this was the biggest game they could have been rewarded with. Subsequently, they had zero opt outs and were highly motivated.

The caliber of opponent is a separate topic from the caliber of stats. They aren’t mutually exclusive either, which goes against your illogical take.

Point is, You can get away with trashing the opponents, but you look like an idiot claiming the stats are pedestrian.

Not at all. I brought passer rating up from the start of our tangent, so what a stupid accusation.

Passer rating has always been a most relevant stat when discussing the QUALITY of a passer. No wonder you want to ignore it destroying your simple take.

You talking about the SC game skewing the numbers DOWN?
