I hope you are joking but it could be true in austin. I liked that breakfast burrito joint if it is still in business. It was older building off the beaten track but I think it was close to a Whole Foods.

No damn way. IHOP blows compared to WH. At least mine does. They make you wait to sit because they only have 1/3 of the seating open, the bitch waitresses would rather talk on their phones than bring you anything. At WH they’re all on meth and right there so they can’t hide

I don’t think you understand what that place means to the south. Don’t know all of those Midwestern places but Waffle House is open 24-7/365. It is always there…All these SEC boys used to hit at 2 AM. It’s a college unforgettable experience in a SEC town after a long night out hanging with your friends. In addition we’ve met family there as early as 5 AM when we are going to do something together for a decent breakfast before we get going…(IE meet at the Waffle House at BFE road in nowheresville at 5 AM).
It’s not the best, but it’s consistent, always available,
and typically right of an exit on an interstate in the south.

Denny's is straight trash. Just awful.

Waffle House serves one purpose, and that's to soak up a shitload of beer.

Call me a redneck, I don’t care. I have not eaten in one for years but I love Waffle House food. Greatest place on earth for a hangover.

It's a breakfast place, good eats. A kind of modern take on a greasy spoon diner. Just scroll down a little bit on this link and look at the menu. It's easier than explaining it.

So, they don't have steaks or country ham, and no omelettes and the hash browns are chunk style instead of shredded. Do they have a bar that you eat at and watch your breakfast getting cooked?
Waffle house is #1, Waffle King is second place, Huddle house comes in 3rd.

Worst chain and service of all in the category. Completely inconsistent in overall quality from one store to the next. Breakfast food tastes like a buffet line. They even frick up omlettes. Who puts pancake batter in an omlette? Pure garbage menu and taste.
