Florida’s is brand new, and Bama has a nice stadium too

I’ve honestly never been to founders. Should have worded it better. I’m actually moving to South Carolina in August so maybe I’ll be able to add that one to the list soon

so is blue bell
I think the outside of blue bell is top notch. Inside is a little blah. A&M softball stadium is almost on par with the baseball. No reason those ladies shouldn't be winning championships or in the hunt every year.

It's definitely the nicest ballpark in college at the moment.
I don't miss the Old Dude as much now that I am an alumnus, the new one is much more friendly for GA and Standing Room. That said, nothing beat the Old Dude as a student. We added a swing and a beer chute to our rig in the outfield with the lower level having a cooler room. I'll post pics shortly. It was like camping, tailgating, and a picnic all wrapped into one.

What perturbs me is how Alabama built a completely new baseball park and ended up with a cookie-cutter concrete graveyard with absolutely no personality.

There’s no reason why the new Box should be 4th. Not saying that I disagree with your post….but they had to actively TRY to frick that stadium up.
They are a few ads on the outfield wall away from being in 3rd or 2nd.

Everything is great but left field lounge doesn't have the same feel it used to. More corporate

Just because we built a nice softball stadium doesn't degrade how nice baseball is.

Blue Bell does one thing really well that most stadiums don't. The 2 tiered deck gets a lot of fans right on top of the action.
Plus the player amenities are still top tier. And the high end seating is solid with suites and clubs.
Weight Room
Locker Room
Club
It's all about 10 years old now (pre SEC money). We're looking to do additional renovations and more seating.
These were sent out in a survey a few years back. I'm sure once they get the new coach they'll give him whatever he wants.

I miss the old Dude but this is a really impressive facility. My only complaints; not being able to see deep outfield plays on the line (depending on where you are sitting), I don't like the way the left and right field stands kick doubles down past 1st and 3rd out into the outfield and I don't like the rounded off short porch in right due to the plaza.

Everyone shitting on my comment have obviously never been to other parks than their own. I've been to every park in the SEC. Blue bell and founders are top notch

The bleachers and ads all over the outfield wall are tacky IMO
...And this is why I can never rank Alex Box as a decent stadium. Tear down the community college style ads and we can change that.

I think most agree MSU has the best right now.
Founders look fantastic on TV. I really want to make a visit there.
Blue Bell has a lot going for it, but also a lot of room for improvement. It's not going to take a lot to really put it in the top top tier.

I see that A&M is trying to model theirs after Swayze.
Bjork is such a dork.

You're going to have to help me out here. Which pic is modeled after Swayze?
Posted on 6/7/21 at 2:25 pm to BobLeeDagger
The new Dude is much better. The old one had nostalgia but the new one is a top level ballpark and your team deserved it.

Swayze doesn’t have anything like that. If anything, it’s almost a carbon copy of the LFL
