Here is your downplay post folks. Everyone Bama has played sucks. But if we lose we weren't that good either. Bama never plays anyone good.

If you're expecting the kid to be overwhelmed by the atmosphere then you're in for a rude awakening.

Possible situations like this are why Barnett was an idiot for leaving mid-season.

So Bama's backups are weak? I thought bama had 5* backups who would start anywhere else.
Also, how many offensive guards are on the edge blocking DBs when a QB scrambles?
Seriously, man. Your OL is good. But the person who started this stream of bullshittery said Bama's OL is worlds better than Ole Miss's. And stats just don't bear that out as far as pass pro goes.
Run blocking, yeah they're great. But your team has played a bunch of garbage defenses and they give up sacks at nearly the same rate as Ole Miss. Try to diminish that all you want, but them's the facts.

Well they are back ups for a reason, usually because they are young and inexperienced. Strength has little to do with it.

I wouldn't put it that way, but it could be more a situation where our Defense forces him into being a pocket passer & he doesn't have early success. That's when momentum gets rolling & DV becomes a weapon moreso in pumping our guys up than in hurting the opponent.

I agree... and Bama's balance will make it very difficult for LSU to key on anyone much less Hurts. Bama's strength is the fact that they have 5 stars at every position and an offensive coordinator that is great at utilizing them.
I think the biggest threat to Alabama is Kiffin has been known to try and get too "cute" with the playcalling. If he stays within himself I think Bama wins this thing going away.

Dumb arse Corndog. He sees a better D at practice every day.

Sometimes I think this and sometimes I think Kiffin just plays the long con. Take the Ole Miss game. We kept running plays to the outside like sweeps and it was getting us nothing in the first half. I was getting pissed but then saw in the second half that he had just been wearing out OM's thin defense and we started gashing them.

I guess that's why you guys are undefeated and ranked #1.....right?!?!?!?!

That's funny because that's what Alabama fans say about LSU every single year. Last week some Gumptard actually said, "LSU literally hasn't played anybody yet."
Literally.
Nobody.

Serious question, do you actually watch Bama football games? Because I have watched them quite a bit. And I'd bet that over 75% of Hurts's designed runs are at the edges of the defense.
In fact, aside from the odd QB draw, he almost EXCLUSIVELY runs outside the tackles.

His designed runs have mostly been to the outside, but he's gotten quite a few yards up the middle on scrambles.

You're talking about under 10% of the time. That's not what you base a game plan on. And it's not evidence to the supposed dominance of your OL.

But, here is the main difference we beat you more. Someone must be lying.

In the UT game Bama switched from reading the DE to reading the DT in the zone read option plays. More of his runs were technically inside the tackles in that game than in any other. Maybe that was just something they saw on tape for UT and they won't do it against LSU as much. I just remember Butch saying that they hadn't prepared for that in a press conference after the game
