I think it's a big no, but (I guess) it's a concern.

He has played at Tennessee, but Neyland is not Death Valley, and Tennessee does not actually have a defense.

Maybe I'm in the minority but Hurts is not the only person I'm worried about.

Saban puts winning above all else. He has showed many times that he does not hesitate to take people out who aren't getting it done.

I hope we're not just preparing for Hurts, but for whatever alternate takes his place should Saban decide to sub him out.

If Bateman goes in, just blitz your safeties every play. He can't hurt a defense in any measurable way through the air.

He's certainly performed well so far this season.

LSU should try to "make him play quarterback" which is a Muschamp quote. I would much rather watch Hurts try to beat a team throwing than running. I know he can flat out run at an All American level. He's a decent short passer, but his long ball is not fully developed at the moment. All in all, JH is a really good athlete and competitor, but his strength is running the ball. LSU needs to not let JH beat them with his legs.

Kiffin will roll him out all night to avoid pressure. Crossing routes to Ridley will be his go to route

I think this is the key to the game. The CEO said on his show this evening that the plan is to contain him and not allow him to break a run in a one on one situation. The LSU defense is certainly capable of doing that.

The atmosphere is going to be insane in this game. Tennessee was big but, it's not the LSU-Bama game in TS at night.

It will be one heck of a great football game.

Nothing seems to rattle him.

Everybody gets rattled at some point. It just hasn't happened yet.

I'm not making any predictions but, eventually, it will happen. He is after all, a Freshman.

we'll have to wait and see.

They have played better on the road though.

No, I believe he fails because it's the best defense he will face all year long and will be pressured all night like he hasn't had to deal with yet. LSU is going to give the boy fits all night long. Just watch and see.

If LSU gets too aggressive, I can see Hurts hitting some short quick throws and making LSU pay for it. I could see OJ Howard having a breakout game.

This kid doesn't.

Its his best quality. Even when he got blown the frick up from the blindside, and watched as OM scooped and scored on his fumble to go down 24 - 3 on the road he was ice cold.

The very next possession Hurts took the team down and scored in less than a minute.

If he didn't fold up then he aint gunna. Yall will have to look elsewhere for a weak link. This kid is special.

I've got an idea. Let's wait and see. Then post about it later.

I feel like he will look composed as always, but I see him being 50/50, probably starting out slow and a little messy like he did in the USC game, and getting better and more adjusted as the game goes on.

Hurts plays extremely well under pressure If LSU tries to put a full blitz Hurts will end up carrying one of them to the house he doesn't need but a little bit of room and he's gone, I did not think of this but it would defiantly be a wrinkle to throw in some triple option with hurts at QB.
