I haven't watched a game yet. I'm likely going to just watch Alabama games and that's it.

College Football Matters and the NFL can go to hell...

With that said, this year certainly doesn't feel the same. None of the traditional banter is going on, empty stadiums, no tailgating...it's just not as fun.

Now you don't like politics in sports? I didn't hear all this bull shite in the past when they played the national anthem before every fricking game for no reason

That is a fight you will never win with the majority of the people.

The USA is the best country in the world. Most people love it and love to celebrate it and don't see it as political.

Pro and college football are basically taking the same road traveled. If you have a dog in the fight you get it. Otherwise, it's just you and your fandom. Results may vary.

Just like this board's rule on politics I don't want to see politics and sports together. Haven't watched any college or pro games and, don't plan on it, and honestly, haven't missed it.

Have not watched a full game.

Tried to watch the UCA vs Austin Peay game back on August 29.

After getting dosed with leftist SJW propaganda for the 4th time, I turned it off.

Have not watched a single snap of any kind of football since.

Won't come back, either.

This is where I am too. The political stuff bothers me but only a little, it's everything else that's lacking. College ball especially is about the spectacle. The crowd, the band, the student sections, etc. With so much of that gone or toned down it just feels strange. The games look like a series of one off, awkward scrimmages. No fans, coaches in masks, no real hype at all. It's definitely not as fun to me either.

why are you here?

Because it's one thing to not care, but it's a whole other thing to not care and need to let people know you don't care.

Fine. Then what about Philando Castile and Breonna Taylor ?
Course it’s a 100% certainty you would complain about that too.

I’m sure N. Korea feels the same way.
Any country with a culture of intense nationalism has the potential for fascism lurking just under the surface.

There is no disparate police brutality against blacks. So what are they 'standing' for?
