Have you try trending left for a change?

I feel like the people giving up sports are starting to feel stupid so they have to continuously make these threads to verify that other people are not watching like them. It only works if other people do it too, and you have to announce it.

Nope. I have already made my intentions clear to The AD and University of Alabama.
Money talks.... I have a full life without it.

Really? No sports for months of any kind and Sunday night Football was down 28% in viewership.
Do you really think people are not serious over this?
It's a damn game. It's not life. However, what they are promoting IS. It's not just that fans don't want to see politics. They don't want what they are selling in BLM. Blake as a hero???? He's a damn rapist who was terrorizing his victim and you gonna wear his name on your helmet?
Some things are just more important than a game.
If the SEC follows that path, the opening weekend will be their largest and I expect it to still be down

These threads always seem to upset the same handful of posters.

You’ve got the insight and understanding of what’s actually happening as a fukn rock. Your statement is rooted in the kind ignorance that has bred the need for immediate gratification and entitlement persona of today’s society.

Football is absolutely irrelevant as are all professional sports in comparison to sacrificing one’s principles or watching those sports used as tools to destroy our country and constitution. I hope they all implode or radically change in numerous ways.

Not really. Probably has more to do with being a Gamecock fan than football not mattering to me anymore, but I definitely don't let it affect me or my emotions like I used to in my 20s.

I've been done with the NFL.

The NFL always ran a distant second to college football, to me. I still love the college game. I did not watch any NFL this weekend other than checking on the score of the Atlanta game. I saw maybe five plays of their game, they still suck.
The NFL lost their way and got politics and the grievance industry intertwined with a game. I can take or leave the NFL and right now I prefer to leave it.

Now you don't like politics in sports? I didn't hear all this bullshite in the past when they played the national anthem before every fricking game for no reason and flew military planes overhead for recruitment.

I will watch college football until it becomes political on the field. I have withdrawn from the NFL over the last couple years.

I'm becoming the opposite in that I'm liking the NFL more as I get older. Probably because I just enjoy being able to go out on a Sunday and watch 6 or so competitive games (generally) all at once, and I play fantasy. This year I'm watching the Bills with a local backers group and it's really fun. I'm a Falcons fan... but slowly being brought to the Bills side.

I've watched both NFL and College. And quite enjoyed it. Even though, it'll be better once the SEC starts.

The NFL is donating money to a Marxist organization. I do not support organizations that support Marxists.
You'd need to be a communist to do that!

So let me get this straight.
You were so tired of people interjecting politics and protesting at these events that you... came to a message board to do the exact same thing?
