I thought Texas wanted to continue a home and home with A&M and they didn't want to do it.

aggy has actually been ducking Texas Tech. one thing you never hear aggy bragging about is the fact Texas Tech won more SWC games vs aggy in head to head matchups. Tech also won more head to head Big 12 matchups with anm.

We know they are running but with your loss to Kansas this year they may be rethinking things. Their unwillingness to face Wake is amazing

Trust me we were not ducking tu. We would have strummed their arse probably 8/last 10 like we’ve strummed Arkansas 9/10 years. It’s just basic facts. All time record aside, they’ve been horrendous. Not even Kansas is ducking tu.

Not only did you get this completely wrong, but you even got the date of your claim wrong. Texas A&M went 1-5 between 1964-1970 and 4-6 between 1971-1980.
1967: Texas A&M 10, t.u. 7
1975: Texas A&M 20, t.u. 10
1976: Texas A&M 27, t.u. 3
1979: Texas A&M 13, t.u. 7
1980: Texas A&M 24, t.u. 14

Dang Kaiser what a story but like all aggy stories (see the 12th man) they are based in half truths. yes DeLoss said he wasn’t going to schedule aggy again. i believe he later amended it to end your punishment after Dr Bowtie’s 100 year commitment ended.

#1 90s: 4 Conference titles
#2 80s: 3 Confernece titles
#3 00s: 1 division tiles
#4 10s-20s: 0 conference titles aka SEC Years
We all know the Agges best years were way before that with the 3 National tiles.
Actually their one divisional championship was in 2010 so not the '00s.
They did not win the tie-breaker so did not represent the south in the conference championship game.
But it was a 3-way tie with head-to-head not able to determine the winner so IMO they deserve to claim that.

Time to replace 1939 with a 2022 or 2023.
Next steps:
0) Beat 'Bama
and then:
1) Win SECW
2) Win SECCG
3) Playoffs
We have a lot of improvement to make in our regular season games. We have demonstrated that we can show up and beat Bama. Now we need to beat them and play at that level all season long.
Not too far a stretch goal, really.
Give 1-2 Years to make the playoffs. We should reasonably expect hardware in the next 3 years. Time will tell.
Until then:
1939, bitches. <-- Owning it. Not avoiding it.

The only time I can remember t.u being interested in playing A&M was around the year they made the sugar bowl. Other than that, its been quiet on both fronts. A&M gave yall a chance early, yall denied.
Years later you became interested and A&M essentially told them, "you don't dictate sheet" and passed.
I never wanted to play after we left but many Ags did to include Aggie brass. Now days, it's clear we have nothing to gain from it like t.u does, so, many Ag's are against it.
These days, I'm sorta looking forward to it. When we play, yall will have an SEC schedule. It will be very clear what you guys are about and I'm going to fully enjoy the melt down by these other guys from the SEC

The final tiebreaker was BCS Ranking. Had A&M played a cupcake in nonconference that season for their 4th nonconference game instead of top 10 Arkansas, they likely obliterate Yukon in the BCS like Oklahoma did.

Bitching about Aggy/sip fights that's on you guys. We will never give Texas an inch and we will always hate them, we know what they are. Just think of it as one more step towards the death of the SEC which is what you decided the day you brought them to the party.
For A&M it was nice to have our decade without them and be able to eat popcorn and laugh at them in their dumpster fire of a conference but it will be fun to kick their arse again on the field. The actual games were fun, it was all the other bullshite that we got so fed up with.
