Yes, Texas is so scared of the SEC that we scheduled non-con games with LSU, Alabama, Georgia and Florida prior to deciding to move to the SEC... good detective work there Sherlock.
Aggy wants to act like the SEC move was a super brilliant chess move on their part but in reality the SEC just wanted a footprint in Texas for recruiting and media and preferably with a team that woudn't upset the power balance. Mission accomplished.

Why you ask… because the Big 12 schedule sucks so bad that they need these games to get any people in the stands. Of course tu should probably worry about playing Kansas at this point.

A&M offered to play the game, this is a fact of public record. Texas said no.

They wanted to punish A&M, but in fact punished themselves to a home schedule that was so horrible that they couldn’t give away tickets for $10.
