A fact ... the US Surgeon General led a study of married couples. It was determined that married men, on average, died three years earlier than their wives.
The main cause of death of pretty obvious, statistically. Because the men could.

Women's D1 college basketball has a much better following than the WNBA.
Seems legit!
Womens pro ball is 2 season, 1/2 in USA and 1/2 in Europe
Men would not do that grind.

I absolutely despise the culture of that particular multinational but ... women now make up 55% of the U.S. population. And if women have shown us anything it's that, on some issues and interests they are peas in a pod.
Said shorter ... women will watch manual bowling pin setting if its a woman setting the pins.
Men don't care. We're not collective like that. We are hunters. They are gatherers.
Women's basketball is awful to watch. Men's basketball is performative art at this point ... but the women's product is just hard to look at.
Always remember ... South Carolina's women would get trucked by most Boys Middle School teams. That's the difference in talent as well as skill.

I have zero level of care and am irrationally bothered by its very existence.

No, it's trash. No athleticism to the games.

I know a whole bunch of people who say it's awesome and popular and super high level.
I don't know anyone who watches it.

I can’t watch much of it. I check in once in a while to see how LSU is doing, but after watching 5 minutes of it, I have to turn it off.
I’m sitting here watching the Arkansas - High Point men’s game and it’s absolutely beautiful. High flying, artistic, lots of great athleticism. Very exciting! The complete opposite of women’s basketball which is very difficult to watch.

Tenn and UCONN fans maybe
What’s weird with Lady Vol fans are that they are kinda separate from fans of other Tennessee sports. Sure, some root for both, but there are a lot of Lady Vol fans who only root for them. And a lot of those people have never even been in the state of Tennessee. Personally, I can’t stand them.

I did fill out a women's bracket.
More people have climbed Mt. Everest than have filled out a women’s bracket.
Half the ratings for the Women’s tournament are probably shitty bars/restaurant that leave the TV on ESPN 24/7.

I don’t have an opinion either way but the women should get a shite ton of frequent flyer miles considering how much they travel down low. It’s ridiculous none of that is called.

The tourney would be more interesting if the top seeds didn't play the first 2 rounds at home, but the attendance would suffer.

Let me put it to you this way….
Eagle 98.1 is LSU‘s flagship radio station.
Friday, The women’s basketball team was playing a ncaa tourn game and at the same time LSU baseball was playing Oklahoma at Alex box Stadium.
Take a guess which game they chose to air on the radio?
To answer your question.. no.

Why does ESPN put this on the front page when the Men's tournament is taking place at the same time?
You know the answer, but it is more of a political board discussion.

A significant amount of Texas fans care.

I went to ESPN a little while ago to check scores, and saw that Vanderbilt was winning 81-49. I was shocked to see such domination. I didn't even think they were supposed to play today, and then I realized it was a women's basketball score. Why does ESPN put this on the front page when the Men's tournament is taking place at the same time? Does anyone actually follow this sport?
Man, do any of y’all have girlfriends, wives, or daughters? If you don’t like women’s sports, that’s fine, you’ve got personal freedom of choice.
I took both of my daughters to both men’s and women’s collegiate basketball games as they grew up. One of my daughters remains a big sports fan, which she is now helping to pass along to my grandson.
From experience, I think that involving girls in sports as both fans and participants helps them develop and retain better physical and mental health, and a sense of confidence, throughout their lives.
And what’s wrong with that? Frankly, when I see posts like this, I sense an underlying hostility to, and fear of, girls and women which appears both creepy and unmanly to me.

We're in the tourney and won, but I'd still rather have a ladies beach volleyball team.

Yes.
We watch volleyball and softball.
But they don't want to watch women play men's sports.

Dude, who are you to define what games girls and women can play?
I bet both the aggie and Longhorn collegiate sports ladies could kick your (and my) old arses in any sport they play…
