I would say Tennessee has more to lose if only because they share a division with UGA. A loss here puts them a game behind. They could beat UGA and get the tie breaker of course, but Alabama wouldn’t have to worry about any of that and would presumably still be in control in the west after a loss.

Bama. The Bama program is national title or bust. UT is getting their program back. It hurt like hell to lose to Florida in 2008 but I knew it was just the beginning.

I don’t there’s many people outside the UT fan base that thinks UT will win. So I’d say more pressure on Alabama

Tennessee wants to win the Alabama game more than any other perhaps. They want to stop this long losing streak to their rival Alabama. They want to make a statement.

But as far as winning a conference championship goes their game with Georgia is far more important.

As far as Alabama goes, they've been in a great many important games since 2008. Conference championship games, BCS championship games, playoff games, and playoff national title games. For them a win will be nice and they certainly want to win, but it still does not measure up to a conference title game or a national championship game. Alabama is used to being on the stage.

Tennessee purely for the fact that you can lose one game and it really does not matter.

However TN still has to play Georgia

tenn just needs to beat bama or UGA.

Alabama has more to lose. Tennessee is playing with house money by this point. Nobody expected them to be there and nobody really expects Tennessee to win.

We're playing with house money. Against the 'best team in the land'.

Pressure is all on them.

We lose, doesn't matter. All we wanted out of this season was 9 wins. Now it looks like we will get a minimum of ten, with a chance in a bowl to take it to eleven.

Our trajectory is up up up. This game will have no effect on that.

I HIGHLY doubt you guys are within 14 points of Bammer this Saturday.

You seem to be one of the few rational people on this forum.

When UT loses, they are going to implode. They've stacked so much emotional capital into this game, they won't recover. They'll probably drop the KY game. Georgia will drub them. And then one of the bottom dwellers at the back end of the schedule complete the collapse.

Neither.

Bama will more than likely win out after this one if they lose and still win the West.

If Tennessee loses they can still finish 11-1 or 10-2 and that is a great season and signs of a return prominence for them.

If Tennessee wins and manages to beat UGA, they would have to face Alabama again in Atlanta.

BAMA has more to lose. We’re not even supposed to be at this point let alone expected to win. It’s all house money from here on out.

This is a game where we find out where 10rc is really standing at the moment. I don’t think losing would hurt them that much unless they get blown out.

How does Peyton Manning attending the game fit into the mixture? Lots of Tennessee posters already throwing in the towel.

The team that’s lost 15 times in a row. Another loss with what they believe is their best team in 20 years and facing upcoming NCAA probation the only thing to look forward to would probably break the program. They deserve every bit of it too. frick Tennessee.
