Does Alabama have a feasible path to the CFP?

How will they spin in this year to let a 3 loss Bama team in?
Without winning the SEC and having 3 losses you have got to be eliminated right? If there’s one team they will let in under those circumstances it’s ALA

Damn, Alabama really touched you guys. We haven't had a season this bad since before Saban was here and you're still worried Bama will get in the playoffs
Don't sweat it brother, it's not happening.

Cocks beat Clemson
Either SMU or Miami lose next week and in ACC champ game

I hope not. As long as Milroe is under center, this team is doomed.

No. The committee will drop them behind Ole Miss.
alabama got blown out 24-3 in Norman. Ole Miss lost a close game in Gainesville.
Either way, it's extremely unlikely either of those teams make it in.

We had 3 losses in 2010. If we hit 4, then you're correct.

Yes. The committee is head over heels in love with them. Asinine to have them #13.

Ole Miss before Alabama. They got run out by a .500 team, couldn’t even manage one trip to the end zone.

We should have never expanded beyond 8 teams. And we are already moving to 14 in a couple years.

Bama deserves a spot in the playoff as much as LSU. So hell no.

Yes, the pollsters are trying to keep them in. AP and Coaches both have them at 13.

You’re nuts if you believe Bama does t get in if they beat Auburn.

We (Bama), don’t deserve to be in the playoffs.

Ideal scenario:
UGA beats Texas in the SEC title game, giving Bama by far the best win of the at large bubble teams.
South Carolina beats Clemson, knocking Clemson completely out and Bama owning the head to head over Carolina.
Miami beats SMU in the ACC title game, likely giving the ACC only 1 bid as a 9-3 Bama with multiple quality wins would likely get in over an 11-2 SMU.
Big 12 only gets 1 bid (likely happening regardless of how the games play out).
Dominant, convincing win over AU.
USC beating ND would be a nice bonus as a 9-3 Bama with top SOS likely supplants 10-2 ND with a G5 loss and only 1 win over a legitimate team.
Basically, if the B12 and ACC are 1 bid leagues (as they should be), 9-3 Alabama is in as the highest ranked of the 3 loss teams. It isn't even all that far fetched as they will be somewhere around #12-14 in the CFP rankings Tuesday.

yes.
1 - They need A&M to lose to either UGA or Texas. If A&M takes the SEC champion slot it's not good for Bama's chances.
2 - They need SC to beat Clemson.
3 - They need Miami to beat SMU convincingly enough to knock SMU below Bama in the standings despite being 11-2 compared to Bama's 9-3.
4 - They need to be the top ranked 9-3 team.
While that's probably enough, some other upsets in the final week would help. Indiana losing to Purdue, Miami losing to Syracuse, Tennessee losing to Vandy, UGA losing to GT and SMU losing to Cal would all help the 3-loss teams. Another 3-loss team picking up a 4th loss would also help the remaining 3-loss teams.

Even under that scenario, Bama still has two of the worst losses of any contender.

Ole Miss only has two wins over a team currently ranked and scheduled a horrible non conference slate (as usual). Bama will clearly be in over them based on SOS.

Big wins matter a lot more to the committee than bad losses. If bad losses were eliminators, ND would be done.
