Kubrick gets too much love based on his earlier films. He made his last four films over 24 years (75-99) and two of them (BL, EWS) are just not good. A lot of people don't know that he cut 25 minutes out of The Shining when it was released overseas, resulting in a tighter, less tedious film.

His run from Spartacus to Clockwork is damn impressive, though.

Spacey should have been nominated for some awards. He played basically the same character a few years later in American Beauty and won an Oscar.

Whenever I watch Heat, I forget that Waingro (John Diehl) was Detective Zito on Miami Vice for a few years.
