If Lane has the same results as Nick Saban LSU fans will be screaming for him to be fired halfway through season three.

No, I won’t be.
But I’m also not going scream and cry about it because that is the way it is now. I’m not saying it’s illegal, but it has diminished what college sports always was for me, even if it was a somewhat romanticized idea and maybe not the reality.

LSU can win in court, but they can’t win against the SEC office. The Big10 forced every conference to draw a line on NFL-to-college players — and Sankey has cover to do the same. Kiffin’s court injunction doesn’t matter

They're taking NFL players and think nothing odd about it. They're also the most obnoxious SEC fanbase. Their history really only dates back to 2000.

Hell, YOUR SCHOOL, South Carolina just signed Ethan Johnson who was in an NFL camp.
Ethan Johnson was never on an NFL team or attended a mini camp. The SEC rule doesn't apply to him like it does the LSU players. BOOM.

The bad looks for college football happened long ago. And they had nothing to do with LSU.
