OK, but please don’t give Buster any openings to show off his dildo photos again…
Oh is that what it is - he likes to stir everyone up so he can post his screen savers.

you mean like tump over? Well hell yes. What word would anyone else use?
EXACTLY! But then I had a Yankee move in across the street from me who had never heard the word. I thought he was lying.
Fact is… if your wagon gets cattywampus, it’s gonna tump.

Why do you keep starting topics?
Dear lord some ideas just keep to your diary or ask someone in person.

I just had a consultant from St. Louis say "what are you fixing?" why do you people say fixing?
Southern women don't have PMS. They have FTS. "Fixin' to start". Do you Texas men say that too?

I'm originally from redneck southeast Missouri. We say coke, soda or "sodie" - never "pop".
The only time I ever hear anyone say pop, it’s someone from Illinois who works in St. Louis.

Lol…another Yankee liberal of UTrans, ignorant about one of the most commonly used phrases across Texas. Just yet another manifestation of why UTrans doesn’t belong in the SEC.

“Fixin’ “ is a Southern staple in our vocabulary.
“I’m fixin’ to go to the grocery store.”
“I’m fixin’ to go to the grocery store.”

Compare my average number of posts per day to yours and tell me who the attention hound around here is.
Please post your results for everyone else to see. That is if you are actually capable of doing the math.

What does that have to do with anything?
Are you off your meds again?

How about don't post at all if that is your metric?

I was born in Pike county and it was 'pop' there all the time

You will hear "fixin" in Missouri but it is unlikely you will hear it from a business person in St. Louis, but I assume you are telling the truth.
I was hanging out at a park in a creek in Missouri last year and a guy was walking by and I thought he wanted our spot on the gravel bar and I told him we were leaving and he could have it and he said oh we were over "yonder" and they were leaving too. You don't hear that much but you do hear some Appalachian in Missourah.

Nobody, and I mean, nobody says "pop" in St. Louis, and nobody says "fixin'," either. Other than that....
It's soda here and for most of the rest of the Missouri population, and pop in Iowa.
