He's 104-12 as a head coach.

Good luck naming one team he got any of his first 60-something wins against.

The NAIA record is as insignificant as my record on NFL Blitz.

2/3 of those wins were at a NAIA school.

Penix never played in more than 6 games any season at IU cause he was injured.

He threw for 4k yards in four years, Two years he was over 1500 halfway through but got hurt.

Michigan had the best statistical defense in the country.

Is this supposed to be a gotcha or something?

DoBoer cures injury woes.

I like him even more now.

And Michigan's best wins all got beat in bowls. Its about like bragging about offense in the PAC 12. Tennessee shutout the same Iowa team they were hyping Michigan up for shutting down.

Deboer is a good coach. However, he's about to walk into a snake pit full of venom when he loses a couple of games each year. Bama fans are spoiled and entitled. The days of running college football are over whether they want to admit it or not.

Everyone outside of this website thinks it is a home run hire, too.

“I’m sure they did their due diligence,” Curtis said. “I don’t want to say anything bad, but undoubtedly, he wasn’t their No. 1 choice.

“I just hope he realizes he’s at Alabama,” said Curtis, who has won eight state titles at UMS. “It’s a whole different ballgame.”

“I’m sure he will need coach Saban to help him and kind of give him the lay of the land.

That's some Bambino home runs right there... just exudes confidence.

Had Penix for 2 yrs at Washington..

Kinda like how kelly has had daniels his 2 years in the SEC. Both coaches are on equal footing in the conference in that respect next year.

We’ll see if those qbs carried those coaches I guess.

So did Alabama’s offense and every offense that faced Michigan last year, genius.

South Florida held Bama to less points and half Bama's schedule held them to 20 something points. They weren't exactly an offensive powerhouse.

And Auburn still couldn’t beat them.

Well, in fairness it was 3-3 and then 9-3. But that wouldn’t serve your purpose
