it would be truly amazing if you had the same sentiment for ag stat posters that think the beginning of time was signing jimbo.

Wow.

Self awareness is truly lacking.

Horns worst stretch of football in a barely P5 conference. There are very few auto wins in SECw.

Trot your last decade team out in the SEC over the last 10 years and Horns would have gone bowling exactly 1 time.

You are going to find out soon enough.

Also similar in that the rest of us don’t give a duck about their high school gossip fest of a rivalry

How many topics have been started in the past two weeks regarding Texas football and their entrance into this conference

Some of you posters are literally the least self-aware people on this planet

But how many times have we heard “TEXAS IS BACK” during “the worst stretch of football in Texas Longhorns history”?
literally one person said that from Texas after beating Georgia in the sugar bowl. I don’t know if any fans in austin that proclaim that as an actual rallying cry non-ironically

aTm (as much as I dislike them) were on their way to becoming the best program in Texas. They have managed their program very well since coming here. Definitely one of the reasons Texas wanted to come here.

Texas with only one 1st round draft selection since 2015

ONE........

Their last 1st round selection on offense was Vince Young. I was pretty shocked when I saw that.

Texas says that every year. ESPN starts the parade in February, by April all the libs believe. Every year, they suck. You can set your clock by it

Now do Texas.

Texas has the exact same conference winning percentage as you guys at 57%. We carry one more conference opponent than you do, and out of our 25 non conference games, we played 12 p5 opponents to your 5. We are also 5-2 over that stretch.

The Aggies were a legitmate playoff contender this year because they played no one out of conference, and had a down LSU. Their last 4 years have been 4-4, 4-4,5-3, and 4-4. When they come back to the fold next year let's all come back here and visit this thread.

TAMU joins the SEC in 2012. If the aggies stayed home, to begin with, they would have busted out Johnny Football on the big 12. Based on the shellacking they gave Oklahoma, it's a pretty good bet they would have won back-to-back conference championships. The shorthorns, by that time, were pretty much shark chum.

That was the glaring difference between TAMU and the shorthorns.

And this is the biggest crock of shite post in this thread. First and foremost if we scheduled a bunch of patsies like you Aggs did for the last 10 years(save for Clemson), we would've gone bowling every year. You guys carry 4 out of conference games. That's 4 automatic wins every year with the way you schedule. You only need 6 to be considered for a bowl.

Secondly, while the SEC is good, let's not act as though there aren't trash teams year over year. Go back and look at how many teams have had seasons where they won 0 non conference games over the last 10 years. The answer is more than you think. You guys need to thank Bama and LSU for your conference reputation. Because the rest of you guys are very beatable. We played two of your top teams the last few years. We beat one and lost to one. No one blew us out, and we were absolute trash. Georgia lost to a 4 loss Texas. When you are a top tier program, you do to a 4 loss team what OU did to Florida(4 loss team). We took a 6 loss team and trashed Mizzou. They weren't fast. They looked like any NORMAL 6 loss team you come across.

Like I said, thank Bama, LSU, and whoever paid Cam Newton to come to Auburn for your recent conference rep.
