Did anyone else catch Pat McAfee’s show where he discussed how Rocco’s GM was angry, rude and insulting to him, telling him he couldn’t pay with a check because it would bounce? Rocco’s is getting torched on social media.

Not to mention the credit card fees on something like that would be a major consideration.
2% on a $200k purchase would be $4K.
Should've just done a wire transfer if he were worried about a check but there could always be more to the story so who knows?

Better off donating directly to food pantry in your city. Once they made this corporate it lost appeal. At one point it was truly a fan contest. LSU likely ruined it by corp buying up drinks.

A bar - no matter it's history associated with a major sporting event - is still a business and public perception is pretty important to that business. How they treat a customer, even one you'd think would be a VIP, says a lot to potential future customers.

Probably a combination of both...their jello shots suck! had one last year and besides being unable to taste alcohol, it was warm...

That guy is a major douche bag and donate $.50 of every shot to charity, but advertises that most of it goes to charity

I’m glad Pat called them out especially the way they apparently treated LSU fan Coop. Pat seems like good people.

Rocco’s only donates $1.50 from each shot and pockets the other $3.50. They are still making about $3 per shot.
