It's a business. This site seems to hate anyone who's making money, but they're supposed to make money. No one has to buy the shots. It's not a requirement.

Why do people keep saying it's a scam?

I dislike McAfee just like the next guy, but if I’m trying to spend a huge amount of money for a good cause, support a local business, and treat my alma mater fanbase to a unique and special kind of experience, I would be pissed with the reported response from the business. I actually think McAfee has addressed this very reasonably. To hell with this bar.

They treated chicken man the same way, and he at least had the foresight to try to set it up in advance.

It isn’t them making money that is cringey. It is them masquerading it as charity.
I believe their pledge to donate a portion of proceeds also coincided with them raising the price from $4 to $5.
But that isn’t what that this thread is about. It is about Rocco’s turning a golden opportunity for even more promotion into a black eye.
