Darn LSU and their . . . (checks notebook) responsible contract tracing.

What monsters!

quote:

“Candidly,” SEC commissioner Greg Sankey said Wednesday, “the numbers around contact tracing have emerged as one of our biggest challenges to playing.” Contact tracing “magnifies” any positive, Sankey says.

Physicians predicted over the summer that contact tracing—not actual positive cases—would present the biggest hurdle to completing a 2020 season. A few months later, their theory is being proven right.

Excluding Auburn (it has 13 positive cases), no SEC team involved in a postponed game has more than four positives on its team, according to school administrators, coaches and sources within those programs. Missouri, in fact, has just two positives. Texas A&M has three. Mississippi State has less than five, and LSU is thought to have no more than four.

That said, at least 30 combined players at those schools find themselves in quarantine after being deemed high-risk contacts during the contract-tracing process, effectively dropping those teams below the threshold (53 scholarship players and/or a minimum amount at a particular position).

I think what hurts this bama melt brigade is that LSU won last year.

Had tuna not fumbled and tossed an int, bama would have won and they’d be fine with this.

But like the lil kid playing connect four, lost the last one and wants to play another.

I'm enjoying the stupidity of this.

I could halfway understand this if LSU / Bama was the only game postponed.

Never mind that there's THREE other SEC games also affected.

Deflection and not facing up to fact is a sure sign of no chest.

i don’t think I’ve seen such a large melt over a game that hasn’t been played. I’d argue they’ve melted harder about this game than the 44-16 arse kicking Clemson gave them.

Just keep beating that dead horse. Might need a couple more threads before we LSU fans grovel at the mighty BAMA machine and beg for forgiveness. Jesus move on pussy

frick...I thought 21-0 in the Dome in the natty hurt me. I never imagined 46-41at home in the regular season against the greatest offense and QB ever could be so damaging.

Man, I really thought LSU wasn't a rival for Bana. Glad to know y'all are so upset about losing this matchup. I always knew y'all were being coy.

Ah, Les Miles, yet another LSU coach who posted 40+ at Bryant-Jenny Stadium on Bama (even with his dinosaur offense).
