You trolls will see it how you want. Just like the Ole Miss situation, you'll be sorely disappointed. You wanted details. You have them now.

By all accounts, Davis was a pretty good coach. Saban hired him repeatedly.

Think he tries to get back on with a pro team now? I would think this hurts him quite a bit in getting another college gig.

I will tell you that coach Saban does not keep a leash on his assistants duri their own time. You do realize Bo could get in a car and drive 2 hours to see a kid in MS or just a few hours and see a kid in GA. It didn't have to be some university jet trip.

Well, his coaches work for him so you would think he would know when his coaches leave town.

Jeez

I have to wonder if the timing of the release of this by Bama was intentional. Bama transgressions flying under the radar of the Ole Miss shite show.

The recruits in question did not end up signing with Alabama, according to the source.

And thus the reason he had to go.

It's one thing to cheat like a mofo. It's another thing to cheat like a mofo and STILL not get the job done.

Inexcusable.

More importantly.. a Bama coach gives a player money and nothing happens. Tunsil gets $305 for his moms utility bill and shite hits the fan.

To be honest I really don't understand it. If Tunsil just pays back the loan shouldn't that resolve the issue?

Admit that Nick Saban has been cheating since he arrived at Alabama and is immune to any punishment because the University and boosters have paid off NCAA officials and the NCAA president himself.

To be ho

Maybe the difference was Bama compliance caught the issue, reported it and cooperated with the NCAA. Maybe Ole miss never reported this and lied to the NCAA. Tell me you do see the difference?

Of course he is. Coaches are on the road during dead periods to meet with high school coaches, teachers, etc. to do background work. But Davis took it a step further. Then lied. That's what got him fired.

Anybody with any sense these days knows the worst penalties always arise when somebody lies.

Do something stupid, admit it, take it to the NCAA and unless it is SMU you will probably be ok. Lie about it? Prepare your anus.

Uh, the article implies that the NCAA found out first and that Davis lied about it.

"The NCAA contacted Alabama's compliance office regarding the situation, and Davis was questioned and caught being dishonest before eventually resigning, according to the source"

Davis was questioned by Alabama, lied to Saban, was found out he lied and fired. Alabama did not cover this up to the NCAA you trolling shite.

If he lied to the NCAA then that's gonna be a problem. Considering the quick timeline my assumption is he either quickly came forward or someone at Alabama caught him in it instead of letting it fester, and then let the NCAA know.

Either way, the lying is almost definitley what got him fired. Inappropriate dead period contact may have, but not necessarily. Lying about it is an automatic axe.

The article clearly states the NCAA contacted Alabama and not the other way around. All signs point to him lying to the NCAA. They also point to Saban handling Davis in the appropriate manner.

Because you know it was plane trips? It has already been mentioned that recruiting doesn't stop during dead periods. Coaches meet with high school coaches, etc.
