For some reason I thought he played baseball in the minors after college.

Jamelle Cornelius, WR (zook recruit but won the 06 natty)
Chas Henry...P. one of the better ones in UF history plus kicked the game winning FG vs UGA in 2010. After Todd Grantham (then GA DC) gave a choke sign.

Levi Wallace. Had no Division 1 offers and walked on at Bama. Stuck it out, earned playing time (and I think a scholarship) his junior year...and he was a starter at CB his senior year and probably our best cover corner...
Went undrafted, signed as an UDFA with Buffalo, and became a key player in their secondary rotation, and has started many games as well. You don’t see a story like his too often...

Omar gaither. Linebacker during a time period we had some studs at Lb so he seemed to go under the radar a bit. Wemt and had an equally quiet yet successful nfl career. Seemed like the guy was in on most tackles for 3-4 years and just didn't get talked about that much. Also liked Zach rogers alot. Was a WR at the same time da'rick rogers, Justin hunter and Cordarell Patterson so it was easy to not be a "spotlight" at wide receiver.

He was a hell of a high school shortstop. Honestly, he probably had a better future in baseball had he chosen to pursue that. He was a great all around athlete.

Richard Tardits. Nicknamed “Le Sack” by teammates because he was born and raised in France and held UGAs sack record until David Pollock broke it in 2004. Did the running of the bulls while he was growing up and also played professional rugby.

Martin Houston, punishing blocker at FB. He just obliterated Barrow & Armstead in the NC game, a bad man

He was really good. Glenn Dorsey got most of the love and attention, but Ricky Jean-Francois was right there making plays.

Shaud Williams--super quick small runner who
followed Franchione from Texas Tech.
In 2002, led Alabama in rushing and 2003 was
the best runner in the SEC, with 1,367 yards and
14 touchdowns. Today he's a strength and
conditioning coach at Oregon.

Fran never coached at Tech. He was at TCU. Shaud Williams was from Tech.

I don't love any players, don't roll that way!

Yeah, the way I worded that was misleading.
Franchione recruited Williams out of high school
for TCU but Williams went to Tech instead.
Williams later said he was looking to get out of
Tech and when Franchione got the Bama job, that
was his out.

I always thought Ray Hudson was the better player, and I still blame Williams for losing that 2003 UT, 5OT game. Had they given the ball to Hudson on any of the plays after it was 1st and 2, Bama wins in regulation.

Trey Lealaimatafao - DT from LSU

Jason Spadoni...The forgotten man in LSU's last all white backfield in mid-2000s. Not a race thing you just don't see it very often anymore.

Spencer Nealy. Dude was hilarious and just a big ball of energy. Pretty good DT as well.

Lavar Edwards is my choice for LSU. Backup DE to Keke Mingo and Sam Montgomery yet somehow always ended up with the ball in his hands and randomly scored a few defensive TDs.

Shaud Williams went to HS not too far from me. Was known as a good and decent person back in the day. Glad to hear he is doing well with his professional life.

Good call on Spencer. He wasn't the most dominant athlete but his motor never stopped and he was a huge piece of the 2012 defense that did enough to win. You always need a player with his heart and grit.
