LSU are going to use SNAP benefits to lure in recruits aren't they?

You're a fricking idiot if you believe that. Sorry your alumni are so damn poor.

LSU fans will live in a house like pic related and still believe Louisiana is financially capable of running a quarter billion dollar athletic program.

Imagine being such a massive piece of trash that you have to post a photo of a hurricane-damaged residence to pretend LSU is poor.

The funny part is that Louisiana is one of the 10 worst state to live in and Mississippi isn't even on the list.

Couldn’t dream of a bigger cripple fight than Louisiana vs Mississippi. Even better is a Mississippi State fan mocking anyone about a lack of finances. This board is unbelievable

My guess is that Louisiana will steer
contracts to donors who will then kick
back a portion to the LSU athletic fund.
Louisiana taxpayers will indirectly foot the bill. Of course any Federal dollars
used in this manner means the rest of us are helping to foot the bill too.

Some comments really do make you wonder about the average person's finances.

"Babe, of course we can take that trip to Vegas and buy a boat, we just qualified for a new credit card!"

I think LSU is playing the get rich quick game which will probably work out in the short term for them but they don't strike me as the kind of university with boosters who have bottomless amounts of cash. Alabama is similar in that regard and we're attempting to play Moneyball as a result. Time will tell which strategy prevails.

Isn't there some statistic about something like 60% of Americans not being able to cover a $1,000 emergency?
