He better start grinding in recruits if he wants a top class. Saban didn’t mess around and players wanted to play for him

So he can coach his way to the national title game with subpar recruits/players?

That's sweet.

How does that rank in comparison to previous Washington classes? Context matters.

Weird how his recruiting ability instantly skyrocketed when he moved to the South, huh?

In the PAC 12? Where they were routinely exposed once they faced tougher competition? Sure.

You don't have to have the #1 class if you can coach.

I'm pulled over in Seattle right now on a brisk sunny day with snow flurries floating in the air. It's beautiful and there is tons to do. UW should have a top 10 recruiting class every year.

Winning with less talent is sign of good coach.

There aren't a lot of big, fast black players in Oregon and Washington. Pretty lilly-white high schools.

Methinks, he'll do a lot better at Alabama. Or are we still pretending the SEC recruiting advantage demographic doesn't exist?

This is big. One way or another it will have an impact. Time will tell exactly what impact.
