I'm not going to get back in the middle of this...but I will respond to this post before leaving the thread:

quote:

The SEC and it's fans have talked shite about every other league for the last 10 years (and so has your media).

Could it be because of those 7 National Championships the last 10 years? Did you ever think that our disdain for the BIG 12 comes from your talking crap about the SEC in spite of actual Titles to prove you are wrong? The BIG 12 has zero titles in that same time span, yet you jump and down and demand attention as if your conference should be respected. Well, if you win the title this year, you might get a small measure of respect. however, let the BIG 12 win 7 straight National Championships by 4 different schools and I promise you will be respected. Until then the BIG 12 needs to shut up about another conference not being strong.

No melt like an Aggy melt. You all have nothing going for you. Texas owns you. Oklahoma owns you. You have no football success.

Last time y’all played didn’t go so well for the ole Sooners.

At the end of the day, you are the Oklahoma fan on the SEC board. Ask me how many seconds I’ve spent on a Big 12 message board in my lifetime...

I like A&M but damn you for bringing these B12 trolls over here haha.

And to set the record straight, always bet against Bama in games where a championship is no longer on the line.

The coaching staff and players are on to the next season or NFL once we are eliminated and the fans hardly show up to the bowls. We as a program and fan base are completely spoiled at this point, I make no apologies for it.

Continue your B12 blood feud and enjoy your scenic visits to college football hotspots like Waco, Manhattan (KS) and Ames next year.

Hell let’s see if they can match the 20 year span from 1996 to 2015 where 5 different SEC teams combined for 11 National Championships. If Georgia can pull off the upset this year, you're looking at 6 different schools in 22 years combining for 12.

All that your SEC brethren need to know about your ability to lie with a straight face is listed in your signature.

Congrats on knocking KSU off in the 1998 conference title game & nothing else since.

I lived in Oklahoma for longer than I would have liked and saw all of this unfold too. They are crazy with the chip on their shoulder and I think they secretly dislike Nick Saban and Alabama even more than Auburn and LSU fans do, if that's even possible

I hope the Dawgs torch 'em

Deep down they understand it, which is why they have tried to change or leave the Big 12 so much. It’s just when they have to admit shortcomings in the process, the cognitive dissonance is out in full force. It’s over the top rationalizing. I can’t even list all the stupid rationalization I’ve heard.

Think about what happens if they don’t win it all. They have a Heisman winning QB and the best offense hands down in the country. They’ve had three years to develop around Baker. They’ve outrecruited every single Big 12 team by a wide margin. They aren’t just Oklahoma right now, they are the pinnacle of what the Big 12 can offer. They are 2010 TCU or 2006 Boise State. It literally couldn’t be more of a perfect storm. The Big 12’s potential has been fully realized, then they will melt harder the Democrats on November 8th.

Think about it. The best the ACC can offer can beat the SEC’s best. The best the B1G can offer can beat the SEC’s best. The SEC is victorious more often than not, but still other conferences can prove their worth.

But we aren’t talking about the best Big 12 team of just this year. This is probably the best Big 12 team of the past 15 years. It might be the best Big 12 team for the next 15 as well. And all they have to do is beat a Georgia team no one would declare as an all time great. Even if Georgia goes on to win it all no one will honestly place them above any SEC National Champion in the past 20 years outside of Bama in 2015.

This game means more to OU’s identity possibly than any other. If they don’t win it all, what does that make them going forward? Just another Notre Dame. The current dynamics of college football will have forever shifter, and to OU’s detriment. How can they honestly deny it at that point?

That being said, Baker is talented enough to single handedly win it all making this dynamic moot, for now. But maybe not forever. I put money on Baker to win it all, so I legitimately don’t think Georgia beats them, I just know the melt will be historic.

Wrong. Texas 2005.

Wrong. The pinnacle will be when Texas is good again.
