The # of teams that have played well and won in Hoover only to lose out in Regional/Super Regional play is staggering. Something happens when they rush that mound and lift that trophy. Lose their edge. Vols in 2022. Hawgs in 2021. aTm in 2016 off the top of my head. If I really think about it Vandy in 2007 with Price Minor, Alvarez , Weathers and Flaherty. Won the SEC tounrey and didn make it out of their own Regional. Corbin was just getting started back then though.
