An East Carolina/ Kentucky super would be great to see with the winner in Omaha for the first time ever.
I’d like that draw as a 5, All 7 pre CWS teams we would face are teams we should match up well against, Still gotta pitch, field and hit.

If State doesn't get a regional over the likes of East Carolina, that would be a travesty. Oregon State is going to get one just because it's one of the only west coast locations, but they're not better than State either. State will have 30 Q1 games vs 7 for ECU

We'd be 18-17 in conference if we won the tourney, wining 19 of the last 24. That's pretty hot, and a tough task that most of the regional hosts haven't done.

SEC apparently had 8 national seeds last year, so it’s certainly possible.

Should LSU host - No but they are a 2 seed.

And the truth is, we can't look at what any other conference is doing, because even the ACC can't match up with the SEC. That's not conference pride, that seems to be fact.
Currently 4 of the top 5 national seeds.
UGA seemingly STILL a top 8 national seed, despite "just" going 17-13, and 0-1 in the SEC tourney.
Florida seemingly safely, apparently not even last 4 in- at 28-27 overall, 13-17 conference, 0-1 in conference tourney.
If UGA and Florida could afford to go one and done, that speaks volumes about the SEC. The crazy thing is how Miss State doesn't have a regional locked up yet, all things considered. If they don't host, I think it means the committee just capped how many each conference can get.

Its not irrelevant, but it's not as meaningful as actual weekend series in conference.
