It’s an interesting paradox, I mean there’s no law requiring these guys to get paid or even attend college for that matter. There’s nothing stopping the sec(or the big) from raiding the acc/big 12 and starting your their own division where scholarships are the only compensation. But as we’ve seen no alumni from any of these schools are willing to play by the rules. So here we are.

Many teams already had sponsors. OU had the Jumpman for years. It sucks but once a few games are played few will notice as much.
