I like picking on Aggies as much as anything - but feel like after that last game in Tiger Stadium we should sit this one out for a bit

They actually know each other pretty well, ha… Of course Louisiana is right next door, and there are lots of LSU grads together with a&m grads living in Texas locations like Houston…

Lots of history between the schools. Plus we had a coach at A&M that used to schedule games in Baton Rouge because he was given part of the gate for those games. So if you look at the scheduling prior to A&M in the SEC you will see a heavy majority of games in Baton Rouge.
Even still now, there have been 39 games in Red Stick and only 15 in College Station with no games in College Station between 1945 and 1986 despite 20 or so games being played between the two in that period.

Hogs had a pretty impressive advantage all-time over the Aggies until A&M got the call to the SEC and since we’ve been playing them in Dallas. The pendulum has swung drastically since then.
