This is NOT a competition.

You can admonish the pond scum AU fans acting out or admit you support them.

I'll give you OJ Smith and Cameron Sims, though sending two coaches, including your OC, to visit Sims implies that they did want him at some level. Possibly hoping he would grayshirt.

You actively recruited, to some level, every name you put out there.

Yes, I know they all had offers, that's why I didn't write it next to their names like I did Sims. It is well known amongst everybody that knows LSU recruiting that we stopped or severely slowed down our recruitment of those prospects closer to signing day. With Hootie their was a serious concern about his speed and he just flat out looked awful in the LHSAA State Championship Game. He was recruited heavily up until picking Bama but when he decommitted and tried to contact LSU it was well known that we no longer wanted him. Tim Williams just did not fit into our scheme and was not pursued much his senior year. Sylve was a few years back but I remember getting very excited for him his Junior year then all sources reported we just kind of stopped recruiting him. Unbelievable speed but the football talent needed development.

What did he think was going to happen? That people in Auburn would jump for joy at his decision? Sure he can do what's best for him, but now he has to live with the consequences.
His family always has the option to move to Tuscaloosa.

No but maybe they could act like decent human beings. And I'm sure 99% of them have. It's a shame the lunatic 1% gets the attention giving the whole fanbase a bad name.

This crap statement is the sort of thing that Auburn fans should actually be ashamed of in regard to the Evans family. The bios of both the mother and father show very active, loyal and important Auburn supporters (Hell, the mother is involved with the adminstration!), while the huge majority of the detractors, including all the clowns on this forum, are probably free-loading, non-financially supporting, "sidewalk" fans who are worthless to the school....now there's your irony, NYC.

Rashaan's mom was/is on several boards at AU and has 4 degrees from there, but they're ripping her to bits.

No one gives a shite about his mom who likely had no say in any of this.

The out-lash is going toward his attention-whore of a father who is pathetically trying to live his failed athletic career through his son. Stern supporter of Auburn? The guy lied through his teeth and did everything in his power to make this a spectacle. Then when his son did "shock the world", ole' Alan went to social media to post stuff like "haha looks like we're going to Tuscaloosa lol RTR".

Great Facebook post by Alan yesterday BTW:

Now that its over everything is out in the open no more sneaking around lol. Roll Dame Tide

This guy expects respects for their decision? Seriously?

This is the ugly side of the top 2 programs in a State that cares about College Football more than anything else.

YOUR NAME IS LSU STEVE AND YOU ARE POSTING THIS ON A MESSAGE BOARD DEDICATED TO COLLEGE FOOTBALL.

Sorry I had to go all caps on you, bro, but I felt the need to yell your irony at you.

No, this is the downside of a fan base who will talk out both sides of their mouths.

Wholesome AU "family"? Or a group of bama hating hooligans heckling a high schooler because he didn't "sign with the right team".

Classy bunch AU fans are.
