I tried to do a vlookup for data after a symbol ^ and I couldn't get it to work.

Selling 95% of your tickets is better than selling 100% at a lower price.
There is also the issue of scalpers, who only exist because the tickets are cheaper than what people are willing to pay. To remedy this, they increased the price so that people wanting tickets would be inclined to buy them through official channels.
Do you see what I'm getting at?
at 10,000 seats selling for an average of 80 bucks is 800,000.
Selling 9,500 seats at an average of $100 is $950,000.
The whole thing is about money,
and the unpleasant reality that as long as people are willing to pay more than face you just end up with scalpers pocketing what could have been money to the University.

Apple also had some problems in the late 90's with bad OS's and some absolute spaghetti code until they got back on track.
The apple strategy is that by giving up the ability to put iOS on other devices you get a better designed kernel for the environment its actually running on,
Android is open for sure, but it can be buggy and poorly optimized depending on the situation.

I think the reason a lot of white people don't like hearing about race advantage is because they had to work for everything they had and they never had this supposed privilege.

You can talk up the successes of Android except you forgot the issue of a cluttered release environment where there are tons of different phones so the software is MUCH harder to write.
iOS gets more stable software and faster because you generally have a more stable environment for software development.

I've used plenty of iOS and Win phone 8 and I have to say the tiles are cool but way overrated.
Also, the settings and non-tile parts of the Win Phone 8 are cluttered which makes settings navigation difficult.
Oh, and did I mention Win Phone 8 has gone seemingly a millennium without a real patch?
Twitter and other websites images will load incorrectly and I've had this phone for around a whole year. (nokia lumia 928)

There is no doubt that Apple will take things that already exist and put them into a form that people want, why is that bad exactly?
I totally agree that they do that, and that they are trying to be the expensive brand name on the market.
