I'd rather have Texas than aTm.
They actually win stuff.

Way it stands now, plus add North Carolina and Virginia.

I'm going to try a 16 team, annually rotating pod conference. Each team would play the 3 other teams in there pod, the 4 from whichever other pod they are matched up with that year, and two from each of the other two pods so everyone plays everyone within a 3 year span.
West Pod

Texas
Arky
OU
Central Pod
Bama
Auburn
Ole Miss
LSU
East Pod
UF
FSU
GT
UGA
North Pod
Clemson
USCe

That's not bad, a big slice south to north in the middle of the country, I can see some good rivalries there

Clemson ain't getting in. Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee would block it.
Like Phat Phil said years ago, nothing to gain by playing the Taters. They have a regional base and SEC television already blankets South Carolina because of USC and Georgia.

frick Colorado. They sold their soul to Texas and helped create the unstableness of the Big 12. I'd swap them with Kentucky

My conference isn't for the weak. But they are pretty balanced, even though the north is a little weaker (but the north would be closer if Tenn could get back to their historical level, and if USCe can maintain after Spurrier leaves). Each pod has 3 really good teams, and one average at best team.
