I said it when it happened, that he pulled himself from the game. He gets rolled up like that 4 or 5 times a game usually. Nothing about that tackle looked bad enough to warrant him leaving the game. I bed the trainers in the medical tent told him he could use their crutches for effect.

X-ray's coming back negative means he wasn't seriously injured to the point of needing surgery or special treatment.
It doesn't mean he wasn't injured at all, he's still going to need some time to recover, just not very long - a week or so.
