You earned that series win. On the road vs #1 team. And you came in and took it. Nothing but praise for your team and program. Good luck rest of the way. Beating Patty like that is no small feat.

Their Friday win might be considered kind of lucky with the OU errors and the number of balls that found holes for MSU in the late innings.

I'm a little shocked but I'm sure our HC is ecstatic. I guess I don't have to tell you her background if you follow OU softball. I'm sure she's on cloud 9 right now.

I had no clue until you said it! She’s the older sister of OU legend Keilani Ricketts who was the main star on OU’s 2013 title team. Of course Samantha is an OU alum as well which makes it all that much sweeter for her.

The head coach, Samantha, was apparently an All American as well. State’s pitcher was nails but their whole team was clutch. State’s team is constructed completely differently than any team I’ve seen play as they looked like a softball team for Jackson Prep..gottta be lowest BMI average in the country

As shocked as everyone here is about this series...
Everybody here really likes Sam... so I think people feel good about that part of it...
As long as she doesn't start beating us on the reg anyway...
MSU looks like they might be one of those teams that gets hot at the right time of year.
OU's baseball team from a few years ago wasn't great... but they got hot and made it to the CWS final. I could see MSU getting an upset or two anyway.
