An Auburn fan ragging on Alabama's schedule when Auburn's schedule is no better was the point I was making...it's not complicated.

Stupid to compare them. Auburn scheduled that game in 2015 when Oregon was still legit

I'm not a season ticket holder and I'm pissed.

I just moved back to Alabama and was hoping to catch some good games while I wait a decade to become a season ticket holder.

This 2019 slate is fricking atrocious.

I'm in the exact same boat. Living in Alabama for the first time since I was 3-4, and that's a pathetic slate.

No. It's stupid to make the comment you made.....regardless of when the game was made, the quality of opponent is what it is...Duke and Oregon aren't much different.

And Georgia plays Notre Dame and Georgia tech in 2019, and not to mention A&M and Auburn from the west.

I guess I’d say something ignorant like this too if I was trying to justify my team’s awful schedule

No one here is going to try and justify that schedule.

Do you purposely try to be obtuse or can you not help it? I never said I approved of Alabama's schedule (in fact, I don't), only that an Auburn fan has no room to complain with their weak schedule, too.
Craig, don't let your dislike for me make you come across as a dimwitted dolt...it's not a good look.

There is no possible way to justify that schedule. But what are you gonna do? I’ll scratch out that Tide Pride check like I’ve done forever and I’ll have my arse in my seat.

I was fully expecting a troll, but this is a very bad OOC schedule.

I find it hilarious you are so easily triggered on this site.

That's a shite schedule and it sucks for the fans. If you can't admit that then there is nothing else to discuss.

Auburn fans would be saying the same thing if that was their OOC schedule.

The main difference though, since you brought it up, we are in Jerry World for the first time so that will be exciting alone. Plus it's the first time we are playing since the Natty in 2010.

So yeah, that has some excitement to it....unlike Duke.

Auburn's OCC schedule
08/31 - Oregon (at Arlington, TX)
09/07 - Tulane
09/14 - Kent State
11/23 - Samford

Oregon was 7-6 last year and so was Duke.

It's ludicrous for an Auburn fan to criticize ANYBODY'S schedule...hell, y'all quit playing Jacksonville St. because they nearly beat you...at home!

Not saying they are top tier but duke has been decent in football the last few years and so miss has a good season every few years so not a great non conference schedule by any means but I have seen much worse.

In 2008 Lsu had the powerhouse non conference of App state,North Texas,Tulane and troy

You mean almost 50% of your home schedule consistenting of NMSU, Southern Miss and Western Carolina wouldn't excite you?

It's especially frustrating for AU fans during the UGA/UA away seasons.
