I don’t mind these games, just will frick us if we drop one. Last year we lost our best two pass rushers against FSU. I just want us to remain healthy.
I know we can still get hurt against cream puffs but that gives our starters only one half to get hurt versus a grueling game against quality opponents.
It’s all I got. I’m pissed too.

All this bullshite about scheduling applies to 75% of the major players in college football. Until the SEC goes to a 9 game SEC schedule, and possibly a mandatory non conference P-5 game, nobody's gonna purposely screw themselves with a more difficult schedule than the competition...and who can blame them?
If all schools were required to play tough competition every game, who would benefit the most?...the teams with the MOST depth of quality players....and what team would probably lead the pack?....you got it!....Alabama.
Bottomline, go bitch to the NCAA about scheduling, not the individual teams. Saban's all for the tougher schedules, but he's smart enough not to put himself at a disadvantage.

Everyone does but it’s still not happening for some reason.
When brought up originally, Saban was the only coach who agreed with a 9 game schedule. All the others chickened out.

He'd play a 9 game SEC schedule PLUS mandatory non conference P-5 games if everyone else does....he knows it'd benefit the deeper, more overall talented team. Y'all need to get your chickenshit ADs to step up and vote to play big boy ball EVERY Saturday!

Blame the SEC for part of it
It's time for a 9 game sec slate and that would eliminate these layup games.
What's even worse is Bama uses those easy games to essentially add a bye before most big games.

It's tough to criticize Bama's OOC scheduling. They have been playing a top quality OOC team (at least pre-season hype wise) for most of the past 10 years. Duke has been a decent team for the past 6 years. The risk is Cutcliffe hangs it up after this coming season and Duke likely is back to 2 or 3 wins a season, max.
